Recent releases are focused on stability and speed. This has lead to significant improvements in the platform and ShadeFS mount.

Platform

• The lag for large mount/platform operations from performing an action to the action reflecting in the platform has been significantly reduced. This includes operations like renames and deletes

• Latencies have been reduced across the app, including navigating folders

• Folders can now be copied and pasted, including between drives in the same region

• Lots of UI fixes in column view, drives views and asset views

• True folder searching. Now on most drives, all folders will show up when searching rather than just folders with contents

• Version comparison

  • Compare 1-4 assets of images, videos, audio files

ShadeFS

• Fixed SMB connectivity issue. SMB should no longer be inaccessible whilst using a shade mount on some macOS versions

• Finder tags and MacOS metadata are now persisted across all clients (seemingly a shade mount exclusive feature)

• New version of our syncing engine leading more reliable syncing

• When mounts conflict they will resolve their conflicting changes much more quickly

• Fixes for sudden crashes happening in rare cases / specific operations
